Hotel Meierhof - Horgen

The hotel has an excellent location, just a few steps from a train station and various restaurants, it's convenient to travel to the downtown of Zurich or the airport. You will find spacious rooms with comfortable beds and great views from the top floor. the breakfast is delicious and there's a free gym available.

Some guests have reported issues with the cleanliness of the rooms and noise disturbances from other guests.

All in all, it was nice place for traveling to Horgen. Regards to your receptionist.

very very convenient to Zurich center and airport!!!

The view from my room was amazing plus the breakfast is served on the last floor and the view from that floor is even better especially in the morning.

They still use the old traditional keys for the rooms insted of electronic cards, so i had to ask for my key everytime i came back from a trip.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was mind-blowing, and the location was jaw-dropping!

It is the hotel to stay,its in my home town and close to zuerich by train and auto. One front office lady was especialy friendly. The selection on the breakfast buffet is very good,and the staff efficient.

The location was perfect, right next to the train station and just across from the beautiful lake. The room may have been small, but it had a cozy and comfortable feel to it. The breakfast spread was excellent, with a variety of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The staff was helpful and friendly, making my experience even better.

It was very close to rail station

The rooms were very tiny , you have only gel shower , no bathrobe , no slippers , no body lotion, to me it is just a 2 stars hotel and I think this is still too much , the breakfast was poor The dining place was so small that it can not accomodate a big group Please do not go by the rating , it is not at all to the middle east standard

The best hotel during our round-trip in Switzerland, the hotel was a home-base for visiting Zurich! Located across the street from the train station and has very frequent and fast train connection to the city centre. Free parking, coffee, tea, internet and water-bar are the key advantages of the hotel. Decent breakfast with the lake-view from the top floor. Remarkable service and staff!

Internet is certainly a field for improvement:I had stable internet connection only in the bathroom, while in the room it was very weak.

The hotel is of newer date and looks ok. Nice staff, free coffe in the reseption and free cold clean water on every floor.

No aircondition, and sleeping with the window up is not easy when all the traffic passes your window. But I should add that it was verry warm outside when we visit the hotel.

My wife and I spent a wonderful night at this excellent hotel, the staff were very friendly and the panoramic view and the art deco interior of the breakfast room just blew us away!! Recommend it strongly, we will definitely go back there the next time we visit Zurich.
